The work force was impacted by the little number of workers made it where the ones who could work were paid much more due to the supply to demand ratio.
The plague led the Catholic Church to ultimately gaining more power than ever. However, the plague did lead to other Christian denominations formed by the ones who lost faith in the Catholics but still considered themselves Christians.
Cities fell apart due to their citizens dying off.
The population of course fell greatly considering 1/3 of the population ended up dying.
